When I was looking I found a manual 4x4 almost like that. Can’t remember if it was regular cab or not, probably not. Thought I’d hit the jackpot.

I think you could only get the manual with the 4.8 and not the 5.3, but still, you should get this truck and join the 2wd/regular cab/short bed club.

Honestly, the 4.8, which I have in my truck, is a little gutless. Plenty durable and modifiable though, and this truck is a lot lighter than my crew cab.

The fuel mileage biased 3.20:1 rear gear mine has, does not help the cause for speed. True story, I “drag raced” my friend up to the speed limit in her Honda Element ... she dusted me.

I would expect a FiST to dust a stock pickup truck, but this was a stock automatic Element.

Agreed on the 4.3 though. Can’t kill them, but they are miserable in a full size.

Yes! They replaced one of the best looking trucks they ever made, certainly the best looking modern trucks, with the hands down ugliest truck they ever made. Worst refresh EVAR!

I want one of these too. I specifically like the look of the regular cab short bed, and I like manual trucks. I don’t really have a use for it, but given infinite garage space, I would get one of these.
